Appointement of François Brière and Michel Rioux as Vice-Presidents of Roche Ltd, Consulting Group

Quebec City, May 20, 2015 – Roche Ltd, Consulting Group is pleased to announce the appointment of François Brière as Vice-President, Industrial and Michel Rioux as Vice-President, Aboriginal Partnerships and Northern Development.

François Brière, Vice-President Industrial

Until recently, François was Director, Business Development, Mining & Metallurgy at SNC-Lavalin. Previously, he was Vice President, Business Development at Structal, a member of the Canam Group, and prior to that Vice President, Business Development – Industry at CIMA+. A graduate in engineering from the École polytechnique, François has extensive international experience notably in Latin America, Europe and Africa.

Michel Rioux, Vice-President, Aboriginal Partnerships and Northern Development

Michel Rioux, who joined Roche in 2012, has an impressive track record on the international front, having been president of Koniambo Nickel SAS in New Caledonia. He has also developed recognized expertise in social acceptability and community relations. Originally from Abitibi-Témiscamingue, he has worked at the Raglan Mine.  Michel Rioux shares the concerns of Aboriginal peoples and is committed to careful development of the North, which has led to Roche being certified under the Progressive Aboriginal Relations (PAR) program.
