Environmental impact assessment for the Toulnustouc hydroelectric plant project

Norda Stelo was contracted to prepare environmental impact and monitoring studies for the Toulnustouc hydroelectric project. Surveys, inventories and modelling of the biophysical environment were included along with various studies related to human environment. Norda Stelo, in addition, developed a fish habitat compensation program to prevent the loss of brook trout in the affected areas. Follow-ups were carried out over a number of years to confirm the integrity of the structures put in place.
